With its Tinderstick effects, Ian Dury’s cockney rap, Beck-esque intros, Nick Cave terror, Tom Waits’ hat collection and gothic grope this is an album where each song is cohesive and intelligent, generically difficult to pinpoint, certainly not for the feint hearted and musically brilliant.

Miss World has a total disregard for formula and expectation, is totally eccentric, dramatic and positively thrilling as she wrestles for the forces of evil. Not one for the coffee table, art rock is spiritually renewed, essential.
